Let's dive in.
Data Sources
We combine private data (distributed through The Sony Music Entertainment) with public data. Insights and Go have 15 streaming platforms from Spotify to Apple Music to Deezer, video platforms like YouTube and TikTok as well as many different social platforms like X, Facebook, Instagram, all centralized in one place and accessible 24/7.

My Catalog
When you enter the InsightsGo Mobile App, you land on the My Catalog tab. My Catalog provides a comprehensive view of your entire music catalog, organized into four intuitive tabs: Songs, Products, Artists, and Playlists. Use this section to easily monitor and analyze your catalog’s performance through digestible metrics and vast filtering options.
Song Tab
Consolidates essential metrics like streams and percent change for a quick snapshot on the go. Filter songs by label, artist, or country, and sort them by streams or release date. Tapping on any song tile will lead you to its detailed view.
Product Tab
Shows all product types, including Full-Length Albums, EPs, and Singles, and tracks their performance over time. You can filter by label, artist, or country, and sort them by sales start date, streams, or release date. Tapping on any product tile will lead you to detailed product information.
Artist Tab
Shows individual artists by label, artist, or country, and sorts them by streams. Tapping on any artist tile will lead you to detailed artist information.
Playlists Tab
Shows all playlists your song is featured on. Filter them by store, playlist type, curator market, label, or artist, and sort them by most recent, 1-day streams, 7-day streams, or followers. Tapping on the song portion of any playlist tile will lead you to detailed song information.
Employee view:
For employees, the playlist tab is optimized to handle the large volume of playlist playlist placements:
- Limited View: Initially shows placements from the most recent day,
- Expanded View: Filtering by artist or label expands the view to show all current playlist placements, mirroring what clients see.
Song Screen
Access the song page by clicking on the song title in My Catalog. This page provides a detailed and interactive view of each song in your catalog to give you comprehensive data and easy access to key metrics.
Header
The header provides a quick snapshot of key details about your song, including the cover art, ISRC, and more. You can use the star icon to mark the song as a favorite for easy access and notification (see “Favorites” section”) as well as click the three dots to share the page, either as sharing it as an image or a link. To visit the artist’s page, simply click on the artist's name.
Additional Metadata
Swiping on the carousel displays important metadata about the song, including:
- Appears on: Lists all products featuring the song,
- Release Date: Date the song was released.
- Label: The label under which the song was released.
- Imprint: The imprint associated with the song.
- Account: The account managing the song.
- Brand: The brand associated with the song.
- Parent company: The parent company of the label.
Hero Metrics
Just below the metadata, you'll find the hero metrics. These metrics help you track your song's growth, identify trends, and understand its reach and engagement.
- All-time Streams: Total number of streams since the song’s release
- 7 Days TikTok: Number of TikTok Creations in the past 7 days
- Total Playlists: Total number of playlists that feature the song
Streaming Trend Chart
Use this section to analyze your song’s streaming performance over the last 28 days with detailed charts and tables that help sort metrics by:
- Source of streams: Passive Discovery, Listener’s collection, Active discovery, Unknown
- Store: Top 5 stores.
- Country: Top 5 countries.
Tap on the graph to see the daily performance based on the ledger below. It displays the total Sources of Streams for the past 7 days, 28 days, and All Time. You can also select a specific area, such as Apple Music, and the graph will adjust accordingly.
Access filters in the header including selecting a market. Note that the streaming trend and ticket will adjust for that market.
TikTok Creations
Below the Streaming Trend section, you'll find TikTok, which follows the same functionality. This data can be used to monitor your song’s presence on the platform and see how your audience is engaging. You’ll notice two graphs:
- Creations: This metric counts the number of times users have created new videos using a specific sound or hashtag. For example, if your song is used in 100 different videos, that would count as 100 creations. This helps you understand how popular your content is for generating new user-generated content.
- Views: This metric tracks the number of times creations have been watched. Views give you an idea of how many people have seen your content, regardless of whether they interact with it further.
View performance metrics for day, 7 days, 28 days, and all time. You can filter each metric by UGC/PGC or by country, helping you understand how and where fans are engaging with your songs on this platform.
Top Playlists
Use the Top Playlists feature to track your song's performance across various playlists. You can view the top 3 playlists by 7-day streams, most recent additions, and follower count, helping you quickly identify where your song is gaining the most traction.
For each playlist, you'll see detailed information such as playlist type, curator market, follower count, song position, added date, and 7-day streams. This helps you understand the impact and reach of each playlist placement.
All current playlist placements are shown with default filters for top stores and playlist types, highlighting the most meaningful ones. Refine your view by filtering placements by store, type, and curator market.
Currently, playlist cards are not clickable.
Top Charts
View all global chart placements across Spotify Daily Top 200, Spotify Weekly Top 200, Spotify Daily Viral Top 100, and Apple Music Daily Top 100. By tapping on the chart, you can see placements by market and relevant data, including the position, change in position, added date, and chart period streams for Spotify.
Additionally, you can easily toggle between different charts to get a comprehensive view of your song's performance.
Artist page
Just like on the song page, the artist page includes the Streaming Trend component, with the same functionality. You can view the chart and table beneath to analyze streaming performance over time.
Social Followers
A key component on the artist page is the social followers section. Here, you can view the number of followers across various channels, including Spotify, Facebook, SoundCloud, Deezer, and TikTok. By clicking through, you can see a detailed chart breakdown of follower trends over time, helping you understand the growth and engagement on each platform.
Additionally, the artist page allows you to manage linked accounts through our connection with Chartmetric. This feature enables users to edit account information. Know that this component works as intended, even though there are some bugs in the workflow that prevent a confirmation message from appearing.
For established artists, any changes will be reviewed by our support team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Top Songs
The artist’s top three songs are displayed, sorted by streams. If you click "See All," you can view the entire list of songs. Since sorting is only by streams, there’s a chance you’ll need to manually search for any new releases on this page.
Top Playlists
Top Playlist works similarly to what you see in My Catalog, where you can view both the playlist and the song it refers to. The top part of the tile is not clickable, but you can select the bottom part to navigate to the song page.
Product Page
On the product page, you can view various metadata, including week-over-week and all-time streams. The page features the same streaming trend component and top playlist component as seen on other pages and has the same functionality.
A key differentiator is the detailed full tracklist, which includes the song title, artist, and all-time streams. Tapping on any song will direct you to the song screen, providing a seamless navigation experience.
